Behind the Scenes of “Tum Shiv Ho”: Capturing the Cold Challenge

Working on the BTS and photography for Dhara Shah’s music video “Tum Shiv Ho” was an incredible experience, especially with the added challenge of filming in freezing temperatures. Here’s a look at what went into capturing the behind-the-scenes moments and the unique difficulties we faced.

Braving the Cold

Filming took place in a beautiful but icy location, and the cold weather brought its own set of challenges:

  • Equipment Struggles: Keeping cameras and gear working in freezing temperatures was tough. Batteries drained quickly, and lenses could get foggy or freeze. I had to be extra careful to protect my equipment and keep everything running smoothly.

  • Crew’s Tough Task: The crew was bundled up to stay warm, but the cold was still a major challenge. Everyone had to take quick breaks to warm up while staying focused on their work. It was a real team effort to keep spirits high and maintain our productivity.

  • Logistics of BTS Photography: Moving around in the snow and ice while capturing photos was tricky. I had to carefully plan my shots to avoid spending too much time outside in the cold. Each photo needed to be just right to show the hard work and creativity happening behind the scenes.

Capturing the Magic

Despite the cold, the freezing conditions added a unique touch to the photos. The frost and mist created a magical atmosphere that complemented the song’s mood perfectly. What could have been a setback turned into an opportunity for stunning, memorable images.

Thanks to the Team

I want to give a huge thanks to everyone involved in the shoot. The crew’s dedication and hard work, despite the challenging weather, made it possible to create something special. Your efforts and enthusiasm were truly inspiring.
